Primary election, school-budget validation June 12
Polls will be open from 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, at Cape Elizabeth High School for the state primary election, and the local school-budget validation.

The Town Tax Office will be closed June 12
so that staff may assist at the polls
Cape Elizabeth voters will be asked to validate the $21.8 million school budget adopted by the Town Council on May 14. (see related story)
As in previous years, the school budget validation includes an optional, advisory question on whether the budget is too high, too low, or acceptable.
Voters enrolled in the Democratic, Republican and Green Independent parties will also vote on primary candidates for U.S. Senate, Congress, State Senate, State House, and register of probate and county commissioner
Absentee voting ended June 7. Under Maine law, absentee voting for any reason occurs until three business days before an election. Click here for more information on absentee voting.
All election activities, including voter registration, will take place at the polls on Election Day.
