The next Annual Household Hazardous Waste Day is scheduled for Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 9 AM - 1 PM at Public Works, located at 10 Cooper Drive -- adjacent to the Recycling Center.

Household Hazardous Waste refers to wastes generated at home that are hazardous in nature, meaning they contain one of the following characteristics:
- caustic/corrosive
- flammable/ignitable
- toxic/poisonous
- explosive
- reactive
These products can be recognized by signal words on the label, such as DANGER, CAUTION or FLAMMABLE.
