On Saturday, June 1, 2024 the Cape Elizabeth Police Department will be partnering with the Maine Police Departments, Maine Gun Safety Coalition, and Humunian Metal to offer free destruction of unwanted firearms and ammunition from the public.  All firearms that are turned in will be smelted and not recirculated.  For more information please visit: https://www.mainegunsafety.org/gun-give-back-days
