Cape Elizabeth voters gave their nod of approval to all six bond issue questions on the Nov. 6 State referendum ballot.
Nearly 25 percent of registered Cape voters turned out for the off-year election, with 1,872 coming to the polls at Cape Elizabeth High School.
Town Clerk Debra Lane said the turnout was about what was expected for this kind of election. She said turnout is usually 22-30 percent for elections in off years.
As voters came through the booths she said she did not hear of any particular bond issue dominating the election, although the highest vote-getter in Cape was Question 3, a $61 million bond issue for infrastructure improvement and eligibility for more than $120 million in matching federal funds. A total 1,496 voted for this issue in Cape; 361 against.
