In a four-way race for three seats on the School Board, Elizabeth Scifres was voted in for a second, non-consecutive term, and Heather Altenburg and John Voltz won election to first terms on the board.
Sullivan garnered the most votes in the seven-way election for three seats on the council with 1,372 votes, followed by Lennon, 1,273; and Garvin with 1,262. In the School Board race, Altenburg had 1,618 votes, followed by Scifres with 1,594 and Voltz with 1,306.
Results are unofficial as of 9 p.m. Nov. 3. Town Clerk Debra Lane estimated a voter turnout of 33 percent.
In the state referendum election, Cape Elizabeth voters supported all three ballot questions, favoring initiatives for strengthening Maine's Clean Election Act; a bond issue to support housing for low-income seniors; and, another bond issue for highway and bridge construction.
