Senator Carney address Kettle Cove Redevelopment Project

During the Monday, July 11, 2022 Town Council meeting, state Senator Anne Carney, D-District 29, addressed the council during the public opportunity for discussion on non-agenda items regarding the potential Kettle Cove Redevelopment Project Public Meeting held on June 29.  Carney reminded residents that public input is still being accepted through July 14.  Residents who would like to submit ideas and/or opinions on the proposed project may do so by emailing Jim Vogel, Planner for the Maine Bureau of Parks and Land, at: Jim.Vogel@maine.gov

Additionally, Carney informed the council that both she and Representative Rebecca Millett, D-District 30, are "Carefully following the situation," and had met with both the Commissioner of the Department of Conservation Agriculture & Forestry and the Director of the Bureau of Parks & Lands last week.  They will meet with them again once all public comments have been received.
