Housing Diversity Study receives seven proposals

Updated 3/17/2022:  The Town Council voted 6-0 in favor of referring the Housing Diversity Study RFP proposals to the Ordinance Committee.  The Ordinance Committee will be meeting on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. via Zoom and is expected to submit their recommendation to the full council for approval at the April 11 Town Council Meeting.

Meeting materials now include submitted proposals.

The Town Council will be holding a virtual Special Meeting at approximately 5:30 p.m.* on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 to refer the Housing Diversity Study RFP proposals to the Ordinance Committee, with a recommendation on the selection of a consultant back to the Town Council by April 1.  It is anticipated that the council will consider the recommendation at the April 11 council meeting.

On February 14, 2022 the Town Council authorized the reissuance of an amended Housing Diversity RFP as no proposals were received from the initial RFP due January 1 [Article].  The deadline for the reissued RFP was March 11, and seven proposals were received.

NOTE:

* The Special Meeting will directly follow a Special Workshop with the Town Council of Scarborough beginning at 5:30 p.m.
