Following a Public Hearing on March 14, 2022 in which resident Tim Thompson spoke favorably of Tostones Café, the Town Council voted 7-0 in favor of approving the application for a liquor license for Tostones Café, located at 337 Ocean House Road.  The application was submitted by the owners of the cafe, Adam & Rea LLC, for a new restaurant malt liquor (beer), wine, and spirits license.

Tostones, which opened in November 2021, features a fusion of contemporary Latin Food from Colombia, Peru, Mexico, and Venezuela.  The cafe was recently featured in a January 31, 2022 Portland Press Herald article.
