The Cumberland County Soil and Water Conservation District, of which Cape Elizabeth is a participating community, will be holding their annual Urban Runoff 5K both in person and virtually during the month of April.  The in person race is scheduled for Saturday, April 23, 2022.

The Cumberland County Soil and Water Conservation district is a leader in natural resource conservation.  Their mission is to protect natural resources through public outreach, education, and working directly with individuals, watershed groups, and municipalities to provide expert planning and critical practices.  The Urban Runoff 5K support clean water education in the greater Portland and Saco areas.
