During the October 13, 2021 Town Council meeting, the council voted unanimously to appoint councilors Nicole Boucher and Gretchen Noonan as interim Town Council representatives on the Cape Elizabeth School Department's Building Oversight Committee.  The council will discuss permanent appointees during the caucus in November, following the election of council members.  Permanent appointees will be voted on December 13, 2021.

The School Board approved the formation of the Oversight Committee on September 14 to help steer the process of replacing the elementary and middle school buildings, as well as the renovation of the high school [Article].
