The Town Council heard from numerous residents during the Public Hearing on the proposed Town Center Affordable Housing Amendments during the Monday, September 13, 2021 Town Council meeting.  The public hearing portion of the meeting went for over one hour in length with over 25 residents voicing their opinions.  The breakdown was nearly equal between those speaking in favor and those opposed.  

The Town Council voted unanimously to hold an additional workshop on Wednesday, September 29 to discuss the viewpoints shared during the public hearing.  During the councilors' vote to set to the public hearing the the proposed amendments to the Town Center Tax Investment Financing District (TIF) for the October 13, 2021 Town Council meeting, councilor Nicole Boucher motioned that the details of the amended TIF be included for discussion during the September 29 workshop.  This motion was approved unanimously by the Town Council.
