Fall 2020 tax bills mailed, may be viewed and paid online or by mail

Tax bills for FY 2021 are being mailed and are available here on the town's website.

The tax bills are issued in the name of the owner of record as of April 1, 2020. If you purchased your property after April 1 and do not receive a tax bill, you may locate it online or call the number below. In addition, you may contact the assessor's office at 207-799-1619 to verify the mailing address.

If you do not receive a tax bill, that is not a reason for failure to pay the taxes due, or for the town to waive interest.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 civil state of emergency, the town offices are closed to the public for in-person tax payments. Instead of coming to the town office to make an in-person payment, please make your tax payment using one of these alternative methods:

  • Here on this website > View or Pay Your Bill
  • Your bank's bill payer service
  • Mail
  • Use the new drop box in front of the town office.

Please do not mail cash or put cash into the drop box. Please ensure that your telephone number is on your check in the event there is a question about the payment. If there is a question or a concern, please contact John Quartararo, finance director, at 207-767-2273 ext. 259.
