updated 04/02/2020

Property tax payments for the second half of fiscal 2020 are due April 1, 2020.

In light of the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, the Town Council on March 25 voted to extend the interest due date for real estate and personal property taxes to June 1.

Real estate and personal property tax payments may be made in the following ways:

  1. Check sent by U.S. Postal Service.  Post dated checks will not be accepted nor held.  Fund must be good when the payment is received.
  2. Using your bank bill payer service.  Please check with your bank.  If they offer that service, your bank will write and mail the payment for your taxes and debit your account.
  3. Online using a check - EFT service.  The cost is 40 cents.  This fee does not go to the Town and is not waivable.
  4. Online using a debit or credit card.  The cost is 2.95 percent of the tax amount paid. This fee does not go to the Town and is not waivable.
  5. In the office when the Town Offices reopen to the public.  The offices are scheduled to remain closed until May 1.
