NESDEC Enrollment Study projects an increase in student enrollment

The New England School Development Education Council is an educational organization which provides members a complimentary enrollment study.  Arising from previous School Building Committee meetings (prior to COVID-19), a new enrollment study was requested in order to ascertain how much space would be required in any future renovation projects.  The NESDEC study projects an increase of 0.4 percent by the year 2030.  Though it also shows a few years of slight decline, the overall growth is projected to be steady.  The enrollment projection for 2029 is 1,581 students, compared to 1,575 in 2020.  These projections are derived from historical enrollment data, births, the number of building permits, and real estate sales.
