Don't miss it - Comprehensive Plan 2019 Public Forum Jan. 25

Want a chance to help shape the future of the Cape Elizabeth and learn more about your community?

Come to the Comprehensive Plan 2019 Committee's public forum at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018 at Town Hall.

The nine-member committee has been working hard to update the town's Comprehensive Plan, which is required by state law to serve as a guide for local development.

"I would really encourage people to come," said Town Councilor Sara Lennon, a member of the plan committee. "I think it's going to be fun, I think it's going to be interesting," she said. "We're going to do some click-polling and group conversations in small groups, and there'll be some structure and some time for you to express anything you are interested in about the Compreshensive Plan."

There will be free, fresh-popped popcorn, healthy fruit salads and desserts.

Here is the evening's schedule:

6:30 – Doors open
7:00 – Comprehensive Plan 101
7:35 – Keypad Polling
8:05 – Small group discussions
8:50 – Review/Next Steps
