Program offering Election Day ride service to senior citizens

Community Services is taking reservations from senior citizens who would like a ride to the polls on Election Day, Nov. 8, 2016, from a Cape High School senior.

The program is part of the school's 'Senior to Senior' initiative, which offers Cape High School seniors the opportunity to assist senior citizens in town.

Seniors need only leave their name and phone number with Community Services, 207-799-2868. Kathy Raftice, adult programs coordinator, will work with High School senior-to-senior coordinator Tom Kohan to schedule the rides, and students will confirm them directly.
