Town seeking applicants to serve on 2016 Alternative Energy Committee

The town is seeking five residents to serve on a newly formed, ad hoc Alternative Energy Committee. The purpose of the committee is to explore opportunities to provide alternative energy to municipal and school buildings and vehicles. "This includes a look at utilization of town and school land and buildings for solar energy opportunities," according to the committee charge approved by the Town Council on Jan. 4, 2016.

The committee is expected to report its findings to the council by the end of December 2016.

If you are interested in applying, you may scroll down to fill out an application online, or click here. Applications may also be obtained at the Town Hall, or by contacting Debra Lane, town clerk, 207-799-7665.
