A majority of the Cape residents responding to a recent survey said they'd like to see the Goddard Mansion at Fort Williams Park stablized; would like the former Spurwink School put to some type of public use; and, that the town center intersection presents no problems.
Results from the survey were presented at the Town Council's meeting Oct. 14, 2015, and will be considered as the council establishes goals for next year.
Each of the three questions in the survey distributed in tax bills this fall returned approximately 800 responses. Here is a breakdown of responses:

In addition, the survey drew 26 pages of comments on these and other topics.
The results will be combined with feedback from the citizen roundtable held Sept. 17, 2015 [results ] and discussed at the council's workshop Oct. 19.
"I'd like to thank everybody that responded, it's really helpful when we know what the general population wants," said council Chair Kathy Ray.
