Cape Elizabeth voters will be asked to validate the $23.5 million school budget adopted by the Town Council on May 11.
As in previous years, the school budget validation includes an optional, advisory question on whether the budget is too high, too low, or acceptable.
Absentee balloting will take place at Town Hall, 320 Ocean House Road, during business hours Mondays 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m., and Tuesday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.- 4 p.m. through Thursday, June 4.
The election will be held on Tuesday, June 9, at the Cape Elizabeth High School gym. Polls will be open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.
All election activities, including voter registration, will move to the polls on Election Day.
Under Maine law, any registered voter may vote absentee until three business days before the election. You may do so in person at Town Hall, or request a ballot be sent to you by filling out an application. Download application
