Citizens sought for representation on 'Future Open Space Preservation' Committee
The Town Council has established a new, ad hoc "Future Open Space Preservation Committee" (FOSP). The committee was established Dec. 13, 2010 to ensure public participation in the Town Council's move to implement the Recreation and Open Space Chapter of the Comprehensive Plan before further implementation of the Land Use Chapter.
The composition of the 10-member committee includes three citizens. The Appointments Committee is now accepting applications for FOSP; as well as openings on the Conservation Commission, Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals.
Here is a summary of positions that are open:
- Future Open Space Preservation Committee, 3 openings
- Conservation Commission, 1 opening, term to expire 12/31/2013
- Planning Board, 1 opening, unexpired term until 12/31/2011
- Zoning Board of Appeals, 1 opening, term to expire 12/31/2011
