The Finance Committee, a committee of the whole Town Council, will meet at 5:15 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 22 in the William H. Jordan Conference Room at Town Hall to discuss the Town Council goal relating to a target for the Fiscal Year 2008 budget.

It is anticipated that the discussion will lead to an agenda item for the Feb.12 Town Council meeting to set a target.

A special section of this website has been created for updates on the budget process for the 2007-08 fiscal year. This year's Finance Committee chairman is Mary Ann Lynch.

Following the Finance Committee meeting is the annual orientation for members of boards and commissions. This will begin with dessert at 6:45 p.m. at the cafetorium at the Pond Cove Elementary/Middle School on Scott Dyer Road. The actual orientation session begins at 7:15 p.m. at the cafetorium.
