Assessing
The Town assessor is charged by state law with discovering, describing, and valuing property, as well as the ownership of that property, for the purpose of taxation.
Code Enforcement
The code enforcement officer is responsible for the interpretation of the Zoning Ordinance and permitting, building, plumbing, electrical and heating inspections; and other enforcement duties at the municipal level that are required by state statute and local ordinance, or code.
Tax Collection

Planning
The Town Planner provides staff support to the Planning Board, Conservation Committee, and other committees established by the Town Council and helps the public with land-use questions, especially relating to projects currently under review by the Planning Board.
