Great Pond Boat Storage Permits

Residents wishing to leave a boat, canoe or other non-motorized water craft at Great Pond must register their intention with the town manager or the manager's designee.

The Town issues a total of 32 permits to store boats on a storage rack constructed on an easement granted by the Sprague Corporation, owner of the property surrounding Great Pond. Permits are available for a fee of $20, and are valid from the last Saturday in March to the first Sunday in December. Permits are awarded by lottery, permit applications are typically available in February.

Residents using the storage racks at Great Pond are subject to the rules governing use of the easement.
