Outer Loop trail reopens; boardwalk finished ahead of schedule

The Gull Crest Outer Loop Trail, closed temporarily since the end of January, is open again following installion of approximately 1,100 feet of boardwalk. The project was expected to take until Feb. 15.

This trail has been chronically muddy and has been the subject of many Conservation Commission discussions regarding improvements. At a special meeting Jan. 24, 20120, the commission voted to use existing greenbelt funds for the boardwalk installation.
